This blog is not only a chronicle of my travels but also a way for people to find inspiration, travel tips, destination advice, travel news, and beautiful photos. People always say to me how much they would love to do what I do, even if it is just for a little while. I’m here to tell you you can. I’m here to show you how. Travel does not have to be an expensive task nor does talking a Gap year require you to uproot your existence. If I, a geek from Hong Kong, can do this, you can do it too!
When I was first thinking about traveling Brisbane, I spent too many hours researching, pouring over travelogues, trying to get some sense of what it was really like to give up everything for long term stay in Brisbane. I kept looking for someone like me – early 20s, never married, workaholic, ambitious and normally quite adventurous. I never found exactly what I was looking for, but I promised myself I would document the process for others, as best as I could.
